Mustang Door Panel Removal

Mustang door panel removal for these classic cars isn't any more difficult than removing panels from earlier vintage vehicles.

The following steps will allow you to get the panel off quickly and easily and requires just a minimum of hand tools and mechanical ability.

Step One:

Unscrew the door lock nobs at the top of the pony car door panel.

Step Two:

Remove the window crank handle with a screwdriver.

Step Three:

Locate the screws for the door handle and remove them. Depending on whether you have standard door panels or the molded deluxe parts will change the locations of these screws.

Step Four:

Pull the door panel outward at the bottom and remove the door handle.
